Last rites for Brady Clifton, 59, Olney rancher were conducted from the Assembly of God Church with Rev. C.G. Owen, pastor, officiating.

Clifton lived one mile north of Olney and died from kidney trouble and a heart ailment. He had been ill for two weeks.

A native of this area of Texas he was born at Seymour and married Miss Ilene Bowman in 1927 at Newport, Texas.

He was a member of the Assembly of God church.

Survived by his wife; two sons - L.G. Clifton of Wichita Falls and Jimmy Dale Clifton of Olney; one daughter - Mrs. R.P. Griffith, Jr. of Olney; two brothers - J.D. Clifton of Olney and Coe Clifton of Austin; one half-brother - J.M. Pope of Mexia, six sisters - Mrs. D.C. Blaylock, Mrs. Lula Holly, Mrs. R.P. Albin, and Mrs. Edna Goldsmith, all of Olney; Mrs. Loyd Hanhke of Rapid City, SD; Mrs. Stacy Dodson of Oakland, OR; three grandchildren.

The stone gives 1901 as date of birth-however the Texas death certificate and the obit give the date of birth as 1900(could be same person giving the information-who knows? Death certificate and obit give place of birth as Seymour, Baylor County and place of death as Olney, Young, Texas
