Myrl Irene Frazier, 97, of Cimarron and formerly of Ingalls, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at The Shepherd's Center in Cimarron, where she was a resident.

A lifetime area resident, she was born Sept. 25, 1913, in Copeland, to Silas Ray and Myrtle Fletcher Stebbins.

On Dec. 29, 1930, she married Melvin David Frazier in Guymon, Okla. They lived on the Frazier family farm, raising registered Angus cattle and farming.

Her husband died in 1976. She also was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Deloris Frazier; three brothers; and her twin brother, Myron Frazier.

Survivors include three daughters, Betty Meadors of Satanta, Carlene Wendel of Sallisaw, Okla., and Crystal Denton of Ingalls; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Copeland Cemetery. A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Copeland.

Visitation hours are 2 to 8 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Montezuma Funeral Home in Montezuma. Memorials are suggested to The Shepherd's Center, in care of the funeral home, Box 421, Montezuma, KS 67867.
