Lucille Faulkner Riddle Roth, 97, of 2604 Kossuth St., died at 3:25 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2003, in her home.
Born July 6, 1906, in Lansdale, Tenn., she had lived in Lafayette since 1926, coming from Bennington, Okla.
Her first marriage was to Bartice "Bill" Riddle in 1922 in Bennington, and he died in 1927.
She married George W. Roth on Sept. 11, 1930, in Lafayette. He died in 1987. They owned and operated Roth's Restaurant on U.S. 52 bypass in the 1950s.
She also managed Loeb's Cafeteria and Loeb's book department before retiring. Mrs. Roth was a charter member of Digby Club.
