Mrs. Emma Grove passed away in the Robstown hospital, Robstown, Texas, June 6, 1942. She was born in Amsterdam, N. Y., and came to Kansas with the family at the age of five years, to make their home in Halstead and vicinity until 1926 when she moved to her farm near Robstown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Grove in 1924. She is survived by one daughter Mrs. W. P.(Emma Mildred) Foster, one granddaughter, Lola Foster of Robstown, three sisters, Mrs. J. G. Krehbiel of Halstead, Mrs Will Grove and Mrs. Francis Chapple of Newton, and one brother, W. P. Meyer of Newton.
Rev. James L. Spencer of the Presbyterian church of Robstown, conducted funeral services at the Nicholes-Grove Funeral home Monday afternoon at 4:30. Burial was in the Robstown cemetery.
