Virginia man was Bloomsburg native
Jaime G. Fenstermacher, age 39, formerly of Bloomsburg, died suddenly on Tuesday, March 1, 2011, in the Bloomsburg area. Jaime was currently residing in Norfolk, Va., since 2005, but always considered Bloomsburg as his home.
Jaime was born Friday, April 16, 1971, in Bloomsburg, a son of Susan Lunger Fenstermacher of Norfolk, Va., and the late Gary W. Fenstermacher on Feb. 5, 2010. He was a member of the Bloomsburg High School Graduating Class of 1989, and also attended Bloomsburg University. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1989 until 2003. He was employed as an Operation Manager for British Telecommunications in Chesapeake, Va. He was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Parish in Virginia Beach, Va.
In addition to his mother, Jaime is survived by his forever soul mate, Angela Shaheen, of Virginia Beach; an aunt and uncle, David and Mary Lunger of Buckhorn; an aunt and uncle, James and Judy Heckman of Rupert; and several cousins.
In addition to his father, preceding him in death were a brother, Scott Fenstermacher, on July 20, 2010; maternal grandmother, Mildred Lunger, on Aug. 25, 2010; maternal grandfather, Gerald Lunger; and paternal grandparents, Woodrow and Helen Fenstermacher.
Friends will be received Monday, March 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Allen Funeral Home, 745 Market at Eighth St., in Bloomsburg. A wake service will begin at 8 on Monday evening.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, March 8, at 11 a.m. from the St. Columba Catholic Church, Third and Iron streets, Bloomsburg, with the Very Rev. Francis J. Tamburro as celebrant. Graveside services will be held in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge.
