John Stanley Dobbins III
'Stan'
Mr. Dobbins, 59, of Greensboro, NC and formerly of Charlotte, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2011 at the home of his parents after an extended illness. Stan was a graduate of UNCC and was employed by IBM.
Survivors are son Jon and daughter and son-in-law Amanda and Keith Usher; granddaughter Kaitlyn, parents John and Donna Dobbins, and brothers Monty and Scott.
Visitation will be Friday from 7 to 8:30 PM at Lowe Funeral Home, 4715 Margaret Wallace Road, Matthews, NC. A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Price Cemetery located on Friendly Baptist Church Road, Indian Trail. Published in Charlotte Observer on March 4, 2011
