NAMPA —Funeral services for Mrs. Esther L. Fletcher, 98, of 619 15th Ave. S., Nampa, who died Thursday in a Nampa nursing home, following an extended illness will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Charles E. Higgins, pastor, and Rev. Vernon L. Wilcox of the Nampa First Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Interment will follow in the Kohlerlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Fletcher was born Oct. 20, 1877, in Clay County, Neb., where she was also reared and attended schools. She was married to Clarence E. Fletcher in 1908 at Edgar, Neb. In 1912 they moved to Twin Falls, Idaho. They later moved to Wilder and then settled in Nampa where she has since resided. She was preceded in death by her husband Jan. 21, 1951. Mrs. Fletcher was a member of the Nampa First Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by three sons, Lawrence W. Fletcher, Philadelphia, Pa., Leonard S. Fletcher, Nampa, Boyd M. Fletcher, Dunn Loring, Va.; four grandsons, one granddaughter, and three great-grandsons. Besides her husband she was also preceded in death by one son, Ray Fletcher.
