Norma Adams Meriwether, 73, Overland Park, Kansas, formerly of Guthrie, Ky., died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, at Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, Kansas.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church with Ernest Fritz officiating and Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
She was born March 24, 1926, in Reed, Ky., daughter of A. M. and Jenny Violet Adams.
Ms. Meriwether was a homemaker and member of Guthrie Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Steve Meriwether, Guthrie; two daughters, Barbara Thomason and Beverly Hughes, both of Overland Park; a sister, Dora Saalwaechter, Owensboro, Ky.; and four grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Middle Tennessee Chapter, 1950 Glen Echo Road, Nashville, TN 37215.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. A.M. Adams of Guthrie, KY, and an infant son, Fuller, Jr., also of Guthrie.
Survivors include her sister, Dora Saalwaechter of Owensboro, KY; two daughters, Barbara Thomason and Beverly Hughes both of Overland Park, KS; her son, Steve Meriwether of Guthrie, KY; and four grandchildren.
