CLARKSVILLE, Tenn., Jan. 12—(Spl)—Funeral servics for J. M. Gordon, former Clarksville resident and father of Caroline Gordon Tate, author, who died at his home in Leesburg, Fla., this morning will be conducted at the grave in Meriville Cemetery near Guthrie at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon.

Surviving are two sons, Morris M. Gordon, St. Louis, and William F. Gordon, Guthrie, and the daughter, who resides in Washington. His wife, Mrs. Nancy Meriwether Gordon, died a number of years ago.
