Anton JANSEN was born in The HAGUE-HOLLAND July 21th.1907.
He was a real SELFMADE Man!
He Started His career before WW2 as a Bellboy in the Famous "KURHAUS" Hotel in SCHEVENINGEN,the Beachresort of The HAGUE HOLLAND.
After different jobs as Assistant Manager of Hotels through HOLLAND Anton served his Country from Juni 1945 untill 1947 as a young Lieutenant in the famous ROYAL DUTCH MARINES.
Anton came back in the Hotel where He started as a Bellboy,but now as General Managing Director,that was from March 1th.1954 untill 1972.
He was a fantastic Host for the Guests who stayed in the "KURHAUS" Hotel.
In the Music Hall of His Hotel,International Artists had their Performances like: Dave Brubeck-The Modern Jazz Quartet-Sarah Vaughan-Marlene Dietrich-Gilbert Becaud-Charles Aznavour and also an Orchestre He did'n like that much,"The Rolling Stones".
When He died Anton has donated His Body for Science to a Dutch University.
IT WAS AN HONOR FOR ME TO HAVE KNOWN THIS FINE"GENTLEMAN"
and to have worked with Him in a Commitee for Catering Business and Hotels.
RUST IN VREDE ANTON. Rest in Peace dear Anton.
