Helen L. Fogel, age 82, of Zelienople, formerly of Fombell, died Sunday, February 20, 2011, at Passavant Retirement Community, Zelienople.
Born October 15, 1928, in Beaver, she was the daughter of Norman and Hazel Zeigler Ketterer. Mrs. Fogel was a member of St. John's Burry's Church, New Sewickley Township, where she was a member of the Faith Circle Women's group and the former Burry's Bowling League. She was a member of the Lawrence and Beaver Counties Farmer's Association, enjoyed sewing, being a homemaker and taking care of her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte L. Gunkle (Florian) of Queen Creek, AZ; two sons, Glenn W. Fogel (Carol Lee) of Beaver Falls and Ronald L. Fogel (Phyllis) of Fombell; daughter-in-law, GeorgAnn Fogel of Zelienople; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl H. Fogel, who died November 6, 2003; two sons, Roy H. Fogel, who died in 1966, and Richard E. Fogel, who died in 2007, and a brother, Victor Ketterer.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME, Zelienople.
Additional visitation will be held Friday, February 25, 2011, from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. John's Burry's Church, 1835 Route 68, Rochester (New Sewickley Township), where funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Friday.
Interment will be in St. John's Burry's Church Cemetery.
