Edna was a school teacher for about 40 years. She taught the 8th Grade at Drew Elementary School in St. Paul. She lived with her mother at 41 West Cook St. until her mother died in 1929. After her sister-in-law, Hazel Woods Corrrigan, died in 1925, Edna raised her brother Clarence's daughter, Lorraine, and his youngest son, Clarence Joseph. From 1956 to 1958, Edna and her widowed sister, Cecelia Minea, lived at 41 West Cook St. with their widower brother, Harry Corrigan, until he died.
