Mrs. DeRossett was a parishioner of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
She was born in St. Paul, Minn., on Nov 7, 1913, the daughter of John Arthur and Johanna Sexton Corrigan. She grew up in St. Paul and attended the University of Minnesota.
She worked as a secretary for a law firm, then as a stenographer at the Federal Land Bank in St. Paul before moving to Chicago, Ill., where she was a staff member of the National Railroad Adjustment Board for five years.
After she and her husband, Roy DeRossett, were married, the couple moved to Washington, D.C., where they lived for 23 years and raised their sons. The DeRossetts relocated to Northfield, Ill., while Mr. DeRossett was a member of the NARB from 1961 to 1969. They lived in Chevy Chase, Md., for 15 years before moving to Oak Ridge in 1984.
Mr. DeRossett died Nov., 17, 1990.
Mrs, DeRossett was a member of the Southern Railway Ladies Club of Washington, D.C.
She is survived by two sons, William J. DeRossett of Kingston and Edmund DeRossett and his wife, Deirdre, of Mercerville, N.J.; her sister, Mary Margaret Donagugh of St. Paul; her brother, John Corrigan of San Antonio, Texas; and two grandsons, William E. DeRossett of Macon, Ga., and Matthew DeRossett of Mercerville...
The funeral will be held at... St. Mary's Catholic Church... Burial will be at Oak Ridge Memorial Park...."
