CUBA — Funeral services for Jeffery Dale Billsie, 51, will be 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 10, at Rollie Mortuary Palm Chapel, Gallup. The Rev. John Michael will officiate. Burial will be in family plot, Pinedale.

Billsie died Feb. 1, 2011, in Torreon. He was born July 11, 1959, in Blanding, Utah, into the Mud People Clan for the Smoke with Red Streak People Clan.

Billsie attended Wingate High School. He did carpentry and was a traditional member. He enjoyed spending time with family, being outdoors, hiking, fishing and dancing.

Survivors include his wife, Priscilla Y. Billsie of Churchrock; sons, Isaac Billsie of Gallup, Derrick Billsie of Churchrock, Fernando Billsie of Churchrock, Gerrett Billsie of Iyanbito; daughter, Marlena Garnenez of Shiprock; father, Johnny Billsie of Blanding, Utah; brothers, Dwayne Billsie of Chinle, Westly Billsie of Shiprock, Aurthor C. Begaye of Sanostee; sisters, Madeline Billsie of Shiprock, Martha Billsie of Shiprock, Daisy Mae Yazzie of Breadsprings, Sharmane Neal Johnson of Farmington; six grandchildren.

Billsie was preceded in death by his brother, Elvis Billsie; mother, Mae Billy Neal.
Pallbearers will be Isaac Billsie, Derrick Billsie, Gerrett Billsie, Dwayne Billsie, Nelson Tom Jr.

The family will meet at Churchrock Chapter House, following services.
