Arlene (Eunice) Haseth went home Friday, February 12th in Sunnyside, Washington at the age of 92 years young.

Arlene's life was spent loving, caring, and living out loud her faith in Jesus Christ that she found as a 12 year old girl in South Dakota. Every day was an adventure to be treasured and now warms our hearts with memories and smiles of the life lived by this wonderful lady. Spending time with Arlene meant games, food, lots of laughter, and enjoying life.

Arlene "Nene" was born in Burke, South Dakota in 1923 to John and Ida Hysell. One of ten children; she had two brothers, Glenn and Virgil, and seven sisters, Verlis Mitzel, Bessie Smith, Nola Salmonson, Joann Lande, Vera Near, Carol Cooley and Vonnie Simon. With a large family she cultivated early the need and desire to always have family with and near her.

Arlene shared her life and love with two of the most gentle, loving men in God's creation. Richard Ruby, a South Dakota boy was the love of her youth with whom she had their three children Sharon, Wayne and Bryan. After Richard passed away Arlene met Robert Haseth; her second love later in life who became a second dad and grandfather to her family.

Arlene is survived by her three children, Sharon Ridenour (Leroy) of Grandview, WA, Wayne Ruby (Pam) of Richland, WA, and Bryan Ruby (Joan) of West Richland, WA, her grandchildren, Julie Montelongo, David Ridenour, Randy Ridenour, Michelle Baker, Chris Ruby, Kate Khawaja, and Breanna Bates, as well as three sisters, Nola, Joann and Carol. Whether child, grandchild, great grandchild or great great grandchild, all were loved by and had fun with Nene.
