Robert was born July 25, 1934, in Danvers, son of Fred and Esther Harman Abbott.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Dale and Loris.
Robert worked for Firestone in Normal for more than 20 years. He later worked for Phar-Mor more than 10 years. Robert was an Air Force veteran.
