Survivors include his wife, Debbie; two sons, Peyton McAliley of Raleigh and David McAliley of Wilmington; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John McAliley of Acworth; two brothers, J.R. McAliley III and Jeff McAliley, both of Georgia; two sisters, Linda Hill and Sandy Jennings of Chattanooga, Tenn.
