Joe McAliley, 54, of Broadway, N.C. died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008. Services will be 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Spring Hill United Methodist Church in Lillington, N.C. with the Revs. Keith Miller and Lee Childs officiating. Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday in Leaflet Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
A Vallejo, Calif. native, Mr. McAliley worked with the Joint Forces Command in Norfolk, Va. and was a Navy veteran. Survivors include his wife, Debbie; two sons, Peyton McAliley of Raleigh and David McAliley of Wilmington; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John McAliley of Acworth; two brothers, J.R. McAliley III and Jeff McAliley, both of Georgia; two sisters, Linda Hill and Sandy Jennings of Chattanooga, Tenn.
