Son of Christian Herbert and Barbara (Mueller) Pfaff. Married first to Hester Minnie Mae Grimes, 05 May 1930. Later he married Maude Bee (Martin) Bagby in 1956. He was a self employed mechanic and had been employed at Cedar Crest Lanes in Kokomo. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge. Survivors include: sons, John and Frederick Pfaff both of Indianapolis: daughter, Shirley Lapree of Elkhart: four stepsons: William, Clifton, James and John, all of Kokomo: a stepdaughter: Wanda McClory of Lantana, FL: a brother: Herbert C. Pfaff of Indianapolis: a half-sister: Alice Moser of McLaughlin, S.D.: two half-brothers: Walter and Delferd Strobel, both of Rapid City, S.D.: and six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, 21 step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. Services were held at Ellers Mortuary in Kokomo.
