Mrs. Albert Mulder, nee Cynthia Huitink, was born on August 30, 1891, near Sioux Center, Iowa.

She was the daughter of Mr. and Henry Huitink, both of whom preceded her in death, as did two sisters. Will Vande Berg and Mrs. Henry Te Slaa, and one daughter, Mia, nine months of age.

On December 16, 1915, she was married to Mr. Albert Mulder. Since their marriage they have made their home near Sioux Center and Hull. To this union nine children were born, including three sons and six daughters.

An infant daughter, Ella, preceded her in death.

The children are: Ralph of Hull; Dorothy (Mrs. Ben De Leeuw) of Ruthton, Minnesota; Ella (Mrs. Leonard De Stigter) of Sioux Center; Henrietta (Mrs. Ben Koele) of Hull; Thomas at home; Marie (Mrs. Vernon Van Ommeren) of
Orange City; Alvin and Sylvia both at home.

She passed away Wednesday, December 21, 1949, after an illness of nearly a year.

She is survived by her husband, eight children, nine grandchildren, and three brothers and two sisters, namely, Gerrit Huitink of Orange City; .Mrs. Jake Vermeer of Grand Rapids, Michigan; Henry Huitink of Sioux Center; Mrs. Nick Huisman of Orange City and Will Huitink of Hospers.

Funeral services were held Saturday at the First Christian Reformed Church of Hull, Rev. J. Hanenburg officiating. Interment was at the Sioux Center cemetery.
