Retired Navy Chief Musician; served in World War II as a medical corpsman and musician aboard the carrier USS Hornet in the South Pacific. Chief Musician in the Naval Academy Band from 1948-1963; he played the French Horn.

Survived by his wife of 55 years, Pauline Mae (Hardy) Gerrior; three children, Vincent Francis Gerrior, Jr., Diane Cheryl (Gerrior) (Dave) Manning and Sandra Ann (Gerrior) (Mike) Balderson. Four grandchildren; Laura Gerrior, Vin Gerrior, Michael E. Balderson, Jr., and Brooke Balderson.

Vincent was the son of Vincent Francis Gerrior (b. ?, d. 11/10/1935) and Laura A. Gerrior (b. 2/27/1895, d. 1/6/1967). The senior Gerrior was a Bandmaster in the U.S. Naval Academy Band, and both he and his wife, Laura, are buried in the Academy cemetery.

Vincent had two brothers; the late Kenneth R. and Philip P. Gerrior, Sr.
