Jean Naomi McGonigal, 82, went peacefully to be with our Lord, January 27, 2011, at her daughter's home in Tallahassee. She was born May 8, 1928, to Joseph and Mabel Gibison of Gibbstown, NJ.

After high school, she met and married the love of her life Albert E. McGonigal.

She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary, post #3308.

Jean is survived by her husband of 65 years, son John McGonigal, daughter Kathy McIntosh-Ely (Bill), and son Thomas McGonigal (Patti), nine grandchildren, Joseph McIntosh, Michele Gavagni (David) Christy McIntosh, Kristopher McIntosh (Monica), Michael McIntosh (Kaseci), Robert McGonigal (Daina), Lisha Lovett, Tonya Bass (Rod), Jennifer Aderman (Richard), 13 great grandchildren, and by her cousin, Joann McNeilly (she loved as a sister) her children and Grandchildren

Her resting place will be at the VFW Post 3308 cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Big Bend Hospice. We thank Big Bend Hospice and all the others who showed their love.
