Hugh E. Maxey, 69 years old, Blanchard, veteran stock farmer and father of two Oklahoma City women, died of a cerebral hemorrhage Thursday at St. Anthony Hospital.
In 1901 he moved from Sherman, Texas, to a farm near Blanchard and had lived there since, except for 10 years when he operated a ranch in Texas.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the First Methodist Church at Blanchard, with burial there, under direction of the Guardian Funeral Home.
