He was borm July 1, 1936 in Transylvania County, to the late Mitch Aiken and Levi Aiken. In addition to his parents, four brothers, Quinton, W. C., Welch and Charles Aiken and five sisters, Lola Dodson, Roxie Collins, Edna Hendrix, Ola Reid and Denton Dodson, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Priscilla Stansel Aiken of the home; one son Keith Aiken and wife, Meloni of Rosman; one daughter , Angel McCall, and husband Larry of Hot Springs; one sister, Maxine Chapman of Rosman and one grandson, Sean Aiken of Rosman.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 8, 2011, at 3 p. m. at Moody-Connolly Chapel, by Rev. Chester Chappell.
Interment followed at Middle Fork Cemetery. The family received friends Saturday from 1:30 until 3:00 p. m. at the funeral home.
