w/o D. BrittainNarcissa Sarah Jordan Schooler, married Robert Daniel Brittain, son of Reverend William Martin Brittain and Rosanna (Rosey) Wright. This was the second marriage for Narcissa, her first husband was Rice Andrews Jackson Schooler, by whom she had four known children together.

When Narcissa married Robert, Robert adopted both her two daughters Elza and Isabel. Unfortunately Elza and Isabel died when they were very young and are buried in the same plot beside her husband's parents, Reverend William and Rosey Brittain. Narcissa and Robert did not have any children together, and are also buried in East Hamilton Cemetery, Shelby County, Texas.

Schooller age 35-KY, Married-HOH-Farmer, wife Narsessy age 24-SC, and three children; James age 4-TX, William L. age 2-TX, and John age 17-TN. (Living next door to his brother's family; Benjamin and Rosanna Schooller, and their son Benjamin.

The 1860 US-Census for Shelby County, Shelby, Texas list: R.A.J. Schooller age 45-TN, Married-HOH-Merchant, wife S.A. age 35-TN, and male J.H. age 10-AR.
