Telesfora T. Ballejos, 80, of St. Johns went with the Lord July 4, 2007.
She was born Jan. 9, 1927 in Quemado, N.M., to Jenaro and Carlota Ballejos. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Telesfora was a friend to one and all. She worked for and retired from the St. Johns Unified School District as a teacher's aide and then as a custodian. She was in the church choir for 50 years.
Telesfora is survived by her son, Mario (Cindy) Ballejos; grandsons, Mario(Karen) and Taj Jesus, St. Johns; sisters, Mary B. Chavez and Belma Baca; brothers, Antolino Ballejos and Roger Nuanez; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Onesima Nuanez.
A Rosary was held Monday, July 9 at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in St. Johns. A Funeral Mass was held Tuesday, July 10 also at the church.
Burnham Mortuary of St. Johns handled the arrangements.
