Mary A. Thomas
Mary Alice Thomas, 84, of Winchester, died Saturday, April 3, 2004, in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Thomas was born March 30, 1920, in Marshall, the daughter of Walter Hixson and Belle Marshall Gibson Slack. She was a sales clerk in pharmaceuticals and a member of the United Methodist Church.
She was married to William Russell Thomas.
Surviving are a brother, Jack Slack of Capon Bridge, W.Va.; and a sister, Virginia Wilson of Towson, Md.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home, Stephens City, with the Rev. Ron Sheckels officiating. Burial will be private.
Memorials may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork St., Winchester 22601.
