Funeral services for Vonda Lee Galbreath Waldrep, 84, of Logan will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Kenneth Hancock officiating, with interment in New Zion Cemetery.

Mrs. Waldrep passed away Friday, Sept. 3, 2010 at her residence. She was born Nov. 2, 1925 in Cullman County to Albert and Sarah Essie Tucker Galbreath. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, a lifelong resident of Logan area. She was a homemaker and quilt maker and loved flowers and little children.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 64 years, Carvin Waldrep; son, Ray Waldrep, who gave his life for our country in the Vietnam war; 3 brothers, Erby Galbreath, Garland Galbreath and J.A. Galbreath; and a sister, Pauline Galbreath.

Survivors include a loving and dedicated, caregiving daughter, Delwyn Waldrep (Doug) Skinner of Logan; sister, Faye Galbreath Weeks of Huntsville; brother, Howard (Freda) Galbreath of Logan; nieces and nephews; beloved pet, Katie Jane.
