Lila H. Bintzler, 91, Green Bay, formerly of Cavour, died peacefully at her home with her family at her side on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011. She was born March 18, 1919, in Grafton, Wis., the daughter of Walter and Olga (Kemp) Gramoll.





Lila married Daniel Bintzler on Aug. 24, 1946, in Grafton, Wis.; he preceded her in death on Dec. 26, 2010. She enjoyed cooking and cleaning her house, always making sure it was in tip-top shape. Lila also enjoyed sewing (seamstress); which she did for many years in the laundry room at St. Vincent Hospital. She took very good care of her family and loved her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by daughters, Kathleen (Steve) Christenson, Green Bay; Sandy Bringe, Green Bay; Sue McAvoy, Green Bay; four grandsons, Jon and Kelly McAvoy and Chris and Craig Bringe; four great-grandchildren, Katie and Alex McAvoy and Caleb and Eve McAvoy. Further survived by other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Olga, and husband, Daniel.

A gathering of family and friends will be on Saturday, Jan. 15, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Weber-Hill Funeral Home, Crandon. Memorial Service will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Don Dewing officiating. Inurnment will be in the Cavour Cemetery
