Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 25, 2011 in the Platt's Crawford Avenue Chapel with Dr. Larry Gilpin officiating. Interment followed in Westover Memorial Park.
She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. A retired civilian nurse, Mrs. Goldman served as a Practical Nurse at Ft. Gordon, for 18 years. Mrs. Goldman was the daughter of the late Frances M. and James E. Rose. Mrs. Goldman, alongside her husband, exemplified the glory of God through their teachings in Sunday school and serving their church and community for many years. Their three children were raised in the church to know the Lord just as they had. A Godly and dearly beloved woman, she shall be deeply missed by her family, until we are reunited with her joyously again, in Heaven.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Newton Goldman; two daughters, Rose Ann Tucker and son-in-law Michael Tucker of Augusta, Judy Cummings of Marietta, GA; and son, James B Goldman and daughter-in-law, Janice Goldman of Smyrna, GA; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one cousin and two nieces.
Pallbearers were Tony Delov, Ned Braswell, Jamie Riner, Zachary Goldman, Roman Sports, Tony Willoughby, Dusty Newton (Alternate).
