Brent was born July 15, 1984, in Buncombe County. He was a member of First Born Baptist Church and attended the Cowboy Church. He was employed with Haynes Electric Construction Company. Brent enjoyed drawing, fishing, riding bulls in the rodeo where he served as a chaplain, and spending time with other people. A loving and trusting soul, he always had a handshake or hug for you.
Surviving are his daughter, Jamie Faye Bryson; parents, Wayne and Susan Burleson Bryson; brother, Brandon Bryson and wife Robin; nephew, Brooks Lance Bryson; paternal grandparents, Carroll and Carolyn Bryson; maternal grandmother, Lois Williams; a large extended family; and fiancée, Glenna Roberts.
His funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 26, 2011, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Revs. Jerry Jamerson and Sonia Burleson officiating. Burial will be in West Memorial Park.
