Harvey Hardaway Jackson, Jr., age 93, born March 28, 1917, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2010 at a Mobile Hospital. Mr. Jackson was a native of Deatsville, Al and a resident of Grove Hill, AL. He was a retired Circuit Clerk with the Clarke County, AL Court System, a former school teacher, was a graduate of Alabama Polytechnic Institute (Auburn University) with a degree in AG. Mr. Jackson was a member of Grove Hill United Methodist Church, a Mason, Past President of the Circuit Clerk Association, received the Silver Award for Boy Scouts and was Chairman of the Bishops Board. He was a great Story Teller and Historian. Mr. Jackson served as a Captain of the U. S. Army serving during WWII.

Predeceased by his parents, Harvey Hardaway Jackson, Sr. and Minnie Edwards Jackson, son, William Waite Jackson, two sisters and one brother

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 21, 2010 from 10:00 AM until the Service time at 11:00 Am at the Grove Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. David Rhodes officiating. Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.
