Her family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and her funeral will be at 2 PM on Tuesday, January 18th, 2011 at Kendall's Baptist Church. Rev. Keith Walters will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Born April 12th, 1922 in Stanly County, NC, Mrs. Kendall was the daughter of the late Pritchard Morton and Esther Stewart Morton and was educated at Albemarle High School.
She was a retired employee of Britthaven and a retired cafeteria worker at North Stanly High School. She was a member, former Sunday School Teacher, and a member of the XYZ Club at Kendall's Baptist Church. She enjoyed attending church and visiting with friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Cline Kendall; a brother, Joel Morton; and two sisters, Onnie Leonard and Ruth Harris.
She is survived by one son, Kenneth Kendall and wife Linda of New London, NC; one daughter, Judith Kendall Morris and husband Gary of New London, NC; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
