Married at 17, she gave birth to six children in nine years and died at age 26. Her eldest child was 8 yrs old, the youngest were twin daughters born 16 days before her death. Her obituary said she died of "blood poison." Also, her obituary identified her only as "Mrs. Clarke Havenhill, wife of... , daughter of... , and mother of... ." Her given name, Viola, is on her tombstone.
Viola's middle name was Lucindy or prob. Lucinda. (Her grandmother's first name was Lucinda).
Pruett sisters married Havenhill brothers:
Viola's sister Daisy F. Pruett (1876-1963) married Clarke's brother Schuler C. Havenhill (1873-1938) in 1893. They had eleven children.
Clarke and Viola married in 1902. He was 31 yrs old, she was 17. They had six children, double-cousins to Sky and Daisy's kids.
