Funeral services for Marlene Ann Dantos, formerly of West Chicago, will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1320 Ridgeland Ave., Naperville.
Born Jan. 17, 1933, in Geneva, she died Tuesday, April 16, 2002, in Orlando, Fl. , from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Interment will take place at 11 am. Tuesday, in Cedar Creek Cemetery, Garrett, Ind.
Mrs. Dantos lived her formative years in Wheaton before moving to West Chicago and Warremille where she was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Wheaton High School, Class of '51.
Marlene is survived by her husband, William P.; children, Mary (Michael) Scheffler and William (Patricia) Heitz Dantos; grandchildren, L.Cpl. Sean Scheffier USMC, Christian Dantos, Nichole Anne Dantos and Charlotte Marlene Scheffler; nieces, Jodi IC (Greg) Stewart and Jennifer Heitz; and her nephews, Jack A. Jr. (Traci) Heitz and Jacob Heitz.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer & Helen Heitz; and her brother, Jack Alan Heitz Sr.
Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, at Williams-Woodward Funeral Home, Route 59 and Pine St., West Chicago.
