Died at 8:15 PM as a result of being struck by a car while walking on State Route 73 (west of Portsmouth, Washington Township). Formerly employed by the late Selby Shoe Company in Portsmouth. Survived by two sons, Eugene and Gary Brown both of Miami FL, his brother Chester, another brother Earl Brown of San Antonio, TX. One (infant) brother (Paul) is deceased. Also survived by a daughter, Karen Brown (age 16), Miami FL; two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Shaffer of Wolf Run and Mrs. Mildred Henson of Hilliard, Ohio. Burial in Friendship, Ohio Cemetery.
