TRAVERSE CITY - Danny H. Brewer, 48, of Traverse City, died Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at his home.
He was born Dec. 6, 1954 in Shelbyville, Tenn., the son of Daniel W. and Eva E. (Flowers) Brewer. On Aug. 23, 1975, in Traverse City, he married Nelli K. Trotter.
Danny was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving as Sgt. in the U.S. Air Force. He was formerly employed by R.L. Polk as a proofreader. He enjoyed the outdoors, held a ham radio license and went by the name KB8ACM.
Danny is survived by his wife of 27 years, Nelli K. Brewer of Traverse City; a daughter, Erin Brewer at home; two sons, Danny Brewer Jr., also at home, and James (Darcia) Brewer of Traverse City; a grandson, James Brewer Jr. of Traverse City; and a brother, Meacham (Selena) Orr of Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 24 at the Traverse City Chapel of Covell Funeral Homes, with full military honors under the auspices of Cherryland Post #2780.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until time of services.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of one's choice.
