He was formerly employed by the Morrisdale Coal Company as shipping clerk for 50 years and was a past master of the F and AM Lodge, No 391 of Philipsburg and the American Mechanics Lodge of Morrisdale. He was a member of the Morrisdale Methodist Church.
Born in Morrisdale, February 17, 1872, a son of Asbury and Mary Ellen Rowles Flegal, he is survived by two children, Myra of Morrisdale and Melvin of Coral Gables, Florida. His wife, the former Clara Mae Fuge preceded him in death November 2, 1947. A son, Harry died 15 years ago.

Lemuel A., Allport; David C., Morrisdale; Mrs Margaret Cramer, Patton and Mrs Anna K Synder, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held from his late home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. E R Raycroft, pastor of the Morrisdale Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Allport Cemetery.
Masonic services will be held on Monday night at 7:30 o'clock at his home in Morrisdale.
