Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Wietta Garner Carter; a daughter, Mrs. Charles H. Sapp of Meldrim, a son, Herman T. Mobley, four sisters, Mrs. C. H. Stokes, Mrs. Charles Carter and Mrs. Frank Hargroves, all of Savannah, and Mrs. L. M. Dickerson of Bloomingdale; two brothers, Malcolm Sapp of Savannah and C. H. Sapp of Bloomingdale; six grandchildren.
