Mr. Maurice Spencer Ward, age 83, of Darnestown, died Thursday, Oct. 17, at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor D. Ward; three daughters, Mrs. Frances Rodeffer, Vienna, Va.; Mrs. Hope Craver, Silver Spring, Ms. Larue Ward, Gaithersburg; one sister, Mrs. Albert Cissel, Darnestown; one brother, William H. Ward, Gaithersburg; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Friends may visit at the Francis H. Barber Funeral Home, Laytonsville on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Sunday, Oct. 20 at the Darnestown Presbyterian Church from 2 to 3 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
