                     Miner Dies On Sprague Mantrip
                                              _______
                         W. B. Saunders Succumbs to
                        Heart Attack Enroute to Work

                                              _______

     W. B. Saunders, about 55, Sprague coal loader,
of Cabell, died suddenly enroute on the mantrip
to work this morning about 6:45.
     It was reported at the mine that Saunders was
sitting upright in the man-trip car, his body lifeless,
when the string of cars loaded with miners came
to a stop.
     His death was attributed to a sudden heart attack.
     Funeral arrangements and a complete list of
survivors was not available at noon today.
