Dr. Oscar V. Moreno, 78, of Florence passed away Sunday, February 24th, 2008. He was the loving husband of Edwina (Ruiz) Moreno of Florence, Arizona who survives him, Edwina and Oscar have been married for 18 years, He was a physician most of his life and came to Florence 51 Years ago. Oscar was a family man spending much time with Grandchildren, He enjoyed Painting and Reading. His great sense of Humor will be surely missed. Dr. Moreno is survived by Five sons Richard, Marcus, Patrick, Rogelio and Carlo Moreno, One step daughter Olivia Padilla, Three step sons Eddie, Roy and Joe Martinez, Two sisters, Lupe Moreno Aguilar, Nila Moreno Sanchez, Two brothers, Iginio and Arturo Moreno, He is also survived by 20 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 27, 2008 from 5pm to 6pm. at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Florence, AZ. Rosary Service will take place at 6pm Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Florence, AZ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Florence, Arizona, at 9:00 AM on Thursday, February 28th, with Father Charles Cloud officiating. Final Burial will take place at Florence Cemetery Florence, Arizona.
