Wendell Franklin Sherwood, 84, died at the Friendship House in Eagar Sunday, March 9, 2008.
He was one of 10 children.
Wendell served in the U.S. Army. He and his brothers built a lot of the block buildings in the Eagar and Springerville area. Wendell is survived by his daughters, Veronica James of Sanders and Verlaine James of Houck; and his sister, Gloria Sherwood of Richeville. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Ruth, who passed away in 2006; and a son, Ralph Sherwood.
