James Carpenter, Sr.
James CARPENTER, Sr., 62, former resident of Pulaski county, died Friday evening at his home in Royal Center after a month's illness. He was born December 14, 1890, on a farm near Winamac.
On Sept. 21, 1910, he was married to Ethel BARKER. His parents were Richard and Emma CARPENTER.
Surviving are two sons, Charles and James [CARPENTER], R.R. 3, Kewanna; two sisters, Mrs. Mary ZIMMERMAN, Kewanna; Mrs. G. HARDING, Cookerville, Tenn., and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Paul Harrison funeral home, Kewanna. Burial will be made in the Mt. Hope cemetery, in Logansport. Friends may call at the funeral home.
