Henry J. Clune, 74, of 814 Steele Av., died at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at his home. He resided in Dayton 50 years and was a native of Burkettsville. He was employed at the National Cash Register Co. 42 years. He was a member of the Modern woodmen of America, the Holy Name Society of St. Mary church and the NCR's 25 year club. Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth; two daughters, Mrs. Marie Downing and Mrs. Betty Gierus of Dayton; two sons, LeRoy H. of Dayton and Edward of Oakland, Cal.; six sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Keller of Ft. recovery, Mrs. Rose Schwieterman of Montezuma, Mrs. Florentine Tumbusch of Burkettsville and Mrs. Mary Landis, Mrs. Clara Shaeffer and Mrs. Christine Winhoven of Dayton; four brothers, Frank of Perrigould, Ark., Anthony and Alex of Burkettsville and Albert of Dayton; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Service will be conducted at 8 a.m. Friday at the Luthman funeral home, 364 Xenia Av., and at 8:30 a.m. at St. Mary church. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
