Fred U. Robin, son of Pioneers, taken by death
Cathlamet, June 13, Frederic Ulysses Robin 75, retired millwright who moved to Cathlamet May 5th from Chehalis, died there Thursday night after a brief illness. He was born at the historic site of Monticello, May 19, 1866.
Robin is survived by his widow, Mrs. Jennie Myrtle Robin, to whom he was married recently; by three daughters, Mrs. Alverta M. Ellis, Raymond; Mrs. Orriville A. Wasson, Rochester; and Mrs. Carl (Cora) J. Quinn, San Bernardino, Calif.; three sons, John D. Robin, San Bernardino; Harold U., of Portland and Durward M, , Los Angeles; five grandchildren, one great grandchild and a step daughter, Mrs. Lila Freitag, Puget Island.
Mrs. Robin is a sister of Mrs. George Hanigan and Mrs. May Watkins, both of Cathlamet.

FUNERAL -Frederic U. Robin,
Cathlamet, June 14, The funeral service for Frederic Ulysses Robin, 75, who died here Thursday evening will be held in the Cathlamet Congregational Church at 2 O'clock. Sunday afternoon. Rev. F. F. Irwin of Raymond will officiate, assisted by Rev. W. W. Head of Cathlamet. The services will be followed by cremation at the Riverview Abbey in Portland. The Hatton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
