Mrs. Elizabeth Agee died last Thursday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hugh F. Reagan, on Washington avenue after an illness of several weeks. Although it had been known for a number of years that she could not recover, her death came as a shock to her many friends here. Mrs. Agee came to this state from Missouri in 1879, and had been a resident of Washington County and Fayetteville for the past twenty-two years. She was a devout member of the Christian church, beloved and respected by all who knew her. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. N.M. Ragland at the family residence on Saturday afternoon, after which the remains were interred in Evergreen cemetery. We extend our deepest sympathy to the sorrowing relatives.
