Lucy was the daughter of Samuel Ironsides Worthm & Jane Meriwether Powell Wortham, born on 07 January 1824,in Handy, Coweta County, Georgia. Soon after their marriage, they moved to Newnan, Coweta County, Georgia. Here Robert Established himself as a farmer.
