Miriam I. "Betty" Hahn, 88, Peru, passed away at 9:34 p.m. on Monday, August 8, 2005 at Century Villa Health Care Center, Greentown.
She was born on July 7, 1917 in Amboy to Harvey and Mary (Pearson) Haines, and married Robert G. Hahn at the Santa Fe United Methodist Church on Friday 21, 1941. He preceded her in death on June 6, 2005.
She was a 1934 graduate of Amboy High School and was a member of the Santa Fe United Methodist Church, and Santa Fe United Methodist Women.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by two sons, Frank Robert Hahn, Evansville, and Boyd Hahn and wife Cathy, Peru; a daughter, JoAnn Hahn, Carefree, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Robert N. Hahn, Peru, Daniel Robert Merker, Overland, Kan., and Karen Hahn, Bloomington; and three sisters, Grace Haines, Marion,Pauline Flockner, Marion, and Mrs. Hodson, Rossville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, John Haines; and two sisters, Dorothy Corwin and Mrs. Johnson.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday at Laird Funeral Home, Amboy, with the Rev. Tom Daugherty officiating. Burial will be at Park Lawn Cemetery, Amboy.
