Oma Ferrell

Mrs. Oma Jones Ferrell, 61, Routs 4, Rogersville, died at 11 a.m. yesterday at Hawkins County Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

Surviving are eight daughters; Mrs. Ruby Giddings, Jessup, Md., Mrs. Frances Way, Mrs. Louise Davidson, Mrs. Linda Drinnon and Mrs. Cinderella Seals, all of Rogersville, Mrs. Nellie Horne, Church Hill, Mrs. Betty Davidson, Surgoinsville, and Mrs. Liza Somerville, Columbia, Md.; two sons, Sterling Ferrell, Bristol, and Elmer Ferrell Jr., Rogersville; 20 grandchildren, six stepgrandchildren, and two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Albright, Sneedville, Mrs. Edna Bagley, Clinchport, Va., and Mrs. D.J. Begley, Edison.

Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. tomorrow at Colboch-Price Funeral Home.Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. John Parrott Sr. officiating.

Burial will be in the Jones Cemetery.
