Ben was born to the late John William and Mary Lemmon Walston on the family farm where he grew up with his late sisters, Marianna and Mabel. Beyond the family farm, he was very proud to have been in the Army in World War II and would readily recall his experiences while assigned to an engineer battalion under the Persian Gulf Command.
Funeral, Sunday, 5:00 p.m. Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, Wilson. Interment, Monday, 9:00 a.m. Evergreen Memorial Park.
There are no immediate survivors, however, there are several distant cousins and extended family friends in the area.
